 We are seeking several Senior Developers – Full Stack who will maintain, enhance and update backend and middleware APIs and processes and front-end interface development using a combination of the latest tools and technologies to build everything a user sees and interacts with on a website and mobile application. This position demonstrates and accomplishes duties through a respectful, constructive, energetic and motivating style guided by company objectives. This role supports the business in growing products quickly into world-wide markets. Dependent on business and product needs, this position will have a focus with ReactJS, TypeScript or React Native.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Full Stack environment.
  • 6+ years of experience implementing ReactJS.
  • 3 + years of experience implementing React native for cross platform native mobile App in IOS and Android.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in how to work with and build mobile and desktop applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to write Microservices and interact with REST, SOAP, or gRPC APIs.
  • Demonstrated experience writing Unit Tests and practicing Test Driven Development, preferably in Jest or Playwright.
  • Demonstrated working experience with Git.
  • Proven understanding of object-oriented and functional design patterns.
  • Demonstrated experience in client architecture and performance optimization tools in the mobile space.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills as an individual contributor and on a team.
  • Strong, resilient, results driven and self-directed individual with personal commitment to excellence.

Preferred experience and/or education:

  • Wagering/gaming industry experience; Knowledgeable in horse racing, pari-mutuel wagering, gaming, sports wagering and/or social marketplace industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, tests, operates and maintains products.
  • Takes ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code in ReactJS, ReactNative and Typescript.
  • Creates optimal designs, adhering to best practices and considering scalability, reliability and performance of all systems affected.
  • Maintains accountability and ensures all aspects of the software development life cycle follows compliance and security best practices.
  • Performs analysis on failures and proposes design and operational changes.
  • Conducts code reviews to provide guidance and training on best practices and compliance with all standards.
  • Takes feedback from code reviews and applies changes to meet standards.
  • Keeps the customer experience as the main focus when making design and coding decisions.
  • Communicates (verbal and written) and works effectively with all team members involved in the Product Teams including but not limited to: Design, Product Owners, Quality Assurance, Back-End and Third Party API vendors.
